Look for the Normal.dot file and delete it. It will be recreated when the user starts word.

We have one user (roaming profile) for whom Word2003 crashes immediately upon launching. Other users can use Word on the same machine, and Word crashes on other machines to which she logs in. She has no problems with Excel or Access. I've replaced her ntuser.dat file with a "generic" one (one with which all of our new users begin). I've replaced this both on the server-based profile and on her locally cached profile. It has made no difference, other than Word going through its "install" routine before crashing. What next?
