I've seen this with Outlook 2003 as well on here.

Can't say I've noticed it in 2007

Were you using owa 2003 or before? If so, that's an issue with owa, and was
corrected with owa 2007

Subject: HELP WITH LIST PROBLEM

Today, I responded to a thread and I got an immediate response from the List
Manager that I had included an attachment, and that I must respond by
resending the message WITHOUT the attachment. In all the years that I've
been on this list, and it's at least 10, I've NEVER sent a message to the
list with an attachment. So, can someone explain to me how the list seems to
think that I've attached something to my message. I did cut and paste my
original message into a NEW message rather than respond, and that worked.
Later, I responded again to another response to the same thread and again I
got the message from the list manager regarding attachments. SO, PLEASE HELP
ME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON HERE. Otherwise I'm wasting my time
reading messages from this list and I'll have to say BYE BYE!

Murray
