Sorry Sam, it's JigaWatt, not GigaWatt if referencing BTTF series.

I usually opt for the second best CPU option offered. The best option is
usually much more expensive, and doesn't provide the bang for the buck.
However, 2.6 Gigawatts is quite a jump from 2.0.

Curious, how much more $ is the jump to the T9500?

If you're not doing anything "demanding" then I would say no, it's not worth
it. I'm sure there's a price jump from one to the other.

Can anyone on this list tell me if it is worth it to configure a notebook
running XP w/2Gb from the 'standard' Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 (2.00GHz) 2M L2
cache to an Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 (2.6GHz) 6M L2 cache? I can't find any
benchmarks that compare/show the T7250 and T9500 and I'm wondering if given
the fact that it won't be used for anything all that demanding, if it's
worth the cost.

Thanks in advance
