Thanks. Knew about the RAM just was fuzzy on the way Microsoft viewed CPU's.

If I have an HP server with a two quad core CPU's does Windows see that as two CPU's, (I know in task manager it will show 8 individual CPU's), or does it see it as 8 CPU's. The reason I ask this is, if I am going to install Windows 2003 Server can I install the Standard version, which is good up to 4 CPU's or do I need Enterprise?
