They're always removable... it's putting them back on that's harder. ;-) Seriously: Try looking for the WRT54GL instead of the WRT54G. The GL series is targeted at the enthusiast market (the "L" standards for "Linux"), and so I think they all still have the antennas with RP-TNC connectors. The GL is basically the same as the G, it just hasn't had the RAM and flash reduced like the G series has. The other thing you can look for is particular hardware versions of the WRT54G. Hardware versions 8.0 and later are the ones with the hard-mounted antennas.
