If you look on the "certified for windows" site, there is a tool that does
exactly that. I don't remember the name of it off the top of my head; but
that should be enough to get you pointed in the right direction.

Subject: Track changes during software installs

Hello, does anyone know of a tool that tracks changes made to a XP system
during a software install? I'm aware of tools like filemon/regmon but would
like to use a tool that will both track and record each change made, i.e.
files copied by the installer to the target system, registry values
added/changed, etc.
