You maybe need to enable IP Routing.

If you open the RRAS MMC. Choose the properties of the Ras Server.

Go to the IP Tab.

Check if Enable IP routing is checked.

Subject: Dialed into a RAS server, cannot ping past it.

Morning all;

I have a strange situation that I was drooped into mid-stream. We have an XP
machine dialing into a Windows 2000 RAS server (at a lightning fast 26.4K) and
I can't seem to get past the RAS server. I am able to ping its PPP address, as
well as its LAN address, but I am unable to ping past it, even to its default
gateway. If I do a trace to the default gateway, traffic is dropped at the PPP
address of the RAS server and that's it, we're done.

I've been looking over things, and don't see an obvious reason as to why it's
not working. I have the "Use the default gateway on remote server box
checked", but it doesn't seem to be working.

Any help would be appreciated.

-Marty
