TIA for any and all ideas... I have an XP workstation that was in the process of being renamed and joined to the domain when it encountered a duplicate name on the network issue. Bottom line, I have now have an XP workstation that I can not log into, as the machine account as it is either out of sync with the domain, or not found. I do not have the local admin password either. I had it (set it myself) but I have a feeling that there is no admin account yet established with a password as the domain enforces a 6 character minimum, and the new password is probably blank. I tried UBCD tools disk to reset the local admin password. It looks like its working, but I still can not log on. Any ideas?
