We use HP DeskJet 460 (and previously the 450) model for our audit staff. They do not print as much since we have gone paperless, but we've rarely had any problems with them. We usually wear out the rollers on them well before they break. They've held up well (along with the Fujitsu S300 and LinkSys WRT54G routers) despite being used (abused even) on a daily basis.

One user even does infrared printing with it. We also tested the HP with a battery pack and didn't really have any complaints. The Canon was slimmer and fit nicer into our rolling laptops bags. I don't know how much they get used but they were "gotta haves" at the time. Never had to replace or service one so that's either a good sign or an indication they aren't used...not quite sure which. :) - Andy O. ________________________________________ From: Joe Heaton [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, June 30, 2008 11:09 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: portable printers Anyone have a good review of any portable printers out there? We have a marketing guy that's on the road quite a bit, and wants to be able to print from his vehicle if need be. This is not an absolute requirement, but an option... I've looked at HP and I believe Lexmark. Neither received higher than 8/10. Any other ones I should look at?
