Okay, so anonymous is set, i would check that it has nt authentication
enabled, what about just reinstalling on top of it?

Yes, that worked. I am going to go through Bonnies list and see if that
resolves the problem since it wont let me remove the thing anymore anyway
and I really don't feel like rebuilding the machine.

I agree with Bonnie, when you flip into DC on the server things like IUSR
and such can all end up kicked in the Deny Logon Locally and such. this
wreaks havoc with a web server trying to process.

 

Can you drop a test.htm page on there and try to hit it manually with IE and
