No takers? I've made some further discoveries...

I can use the Win32_IP4RouteTable to get the VPN IP address. This is a
workable solution, but still, there must be a better way.

That route table entry references an InterfaceIndex that is not among those
returned by Win32_NetworkAdapterConfiguration.

The same is true of the route table entry for 127.0.0.1.

So the VPN is apparently using some virtual network interface that I can't
query with WMI?

Subject: WMI query to get VPN connection's IP address under Vista

Standard MS VPN. How can one find the VPN connection's IP address with WMI
under Vista?

Running Scriptomaticv2.hta (elevated), I've looked at everything returned
for

Win32_NetworkAdapter

Win32_NetworkAdapterConfiguration

Win32_NetworkAdapterSetting

and the IP address shown by ipconfig doesn't appear in any of the results.

Works great under XP though. Everything I've googled doesn't say this
should be different under Vista, but it is. Just my machine?

TIA,

Carl
