There are some wild card capabilities but not by user. That's why I have
been backing up documents and settings.also gets outlook, oddball program
settings, etc.

Figured I could cut out some waste by using a script but I haven't been able
to create a solid one.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Can't you just set up some wildcards?

Backup C\docs and settings\Wildcard*\My documents

Tht will skip the rest. But be nice and also backup favorites, desktop,
firefox profile (if any), and outlook files, like the NK2 file.

Why not redirect all My Document folders to a server? Make it policy if you
don't save to your there you are SOL on recovery.

We are running backups on users and in some cases have to back up the entire
documents and settings folder if there are more than one user on a machine.
Some machines have defined users, but some machines are shared randomly.
Because of backing up the documents and settings folder it is also backing
up a lot of waste (temp files, etc.).

Does anyone have a good cleanup script that they would be willing to share?

Please let me know if you have any questions.
