This is the thing with the two-year term. An Authorization contains some number of Agreements. Each Agreement corresponds roughly with a purchase order you have made. The Agreement details each actual License you purchased. Multiple Licenses can be part of a single Agreement, and multiple Agreements can be part of a single Authorization. For example, let's say you're a new MSFT volume license customer, and you buy 10 seats of Windows XP and 10 Server CALs. An Authorization is created for you. An Agreement is created for the purchase. The 20 seats are listed on the Agreement. A year later, you purchase 10 more seats of each. A new Agreement is created for those 20 seats, under the same Authorization. > Now I'll have multiple volume license codes to track for a single > product (non Visa/Windows 2008 licensing I"m referring to) If this is Windows XP, you can use the same Volume License Key for all installs, as long as you've purchased the licenses. The key isn't tracked with activation. -- Ben ~ Upgrade to Next Generation Antispam/Antivirus with Ninja! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbelt ( http://www.sunbelt/ )-software.com/SunbeltMessagingNinja.cfm> ~ Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail message, including attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
