BTW, you could do a simple copy under Virtual Server but I never did that as I was always worried about the SID issue. Since Hyper-V asks about re-using Machine ID's I am hoping that it would change the SID or this is some new way to say the same thing. I also don't add a machine to the domain until after it is ready for use. I believe that it would get a new SID at that time anyway.
