Sheesh, those programmer & DBA types are the absolute worst when it comes to stuff like that. Yeah, I *could* go around it, but I won't......;) We're getting a bad rap right now, being called things like Nazi's and Gestapo. IT people seem to dislike having access taken away. Being forced to go through a proxy server and not being able to change their browser settings, *time waster* web-sites blocked, usb devices blocked....we're the bad guys enforcing what management tells us to enforce.
