Well, if you took a database backup (you did, right?), you can install wss on a test machine in the same domain and restore the database and then figure out what went wrong. But I don't have strong knowledge in that arena..you might want to ask on the Yahoo SharePoint list or call PSS.

I can't load anything at the moment. Sharepoint Central Admin fails to load, comes up with an error which I assume is because I have completed the MOSS configuration. Effectively, I'm done for :S From: Michael B. Based on this: Microsoft.Office.Server.Utilities.WindowsSecurity.ValidateAccount(NTAccount account, Boolean throwIfInvalid) at Microsoft.Office.Server.Administration.SharedAccessRule.Validate() I would bet that at least one isn't. I have a problem when running the Sharepoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard in the Office Server program group. It runs through fine, but displays a failed status at the end. The event log has this in it; Event Type: Error Event Source: SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard Event Category: None Event ID: 104 Date: 8/13/2008 Time: 12:57:34 PM User: N/A Computer: SHAREPOINT Description: Failed to create sample data. Currently MOSS isnt working and neither is SPS now, so I'm up against it. Has anyone else seen this ? Can anyone help ? I can't find anything about this specific error on the googleynet or on any of the common sharepoint forums so I thought I would ask the collective nerd-mind.
