Is the IP address properly configured?  OpenDNS needs the external IP of
your network.  If you have a dynamic IP you'll need to use the updater
utility.

 

Also, remove any other external DNS pointers or you'll still be able to
hit those sites.  

 

I usually just test by trying to hit www. Playboy.com.  If it's blocked
you're good to go.

Hello all...

 

I've just changed to OpenDNS yesterday.  However I'm having a heck of a
time getting the adult site blocking to work.  I've followed all the
instructions and guides from the forums and knowledge base but still no
joy.  Has anyone had this problem and know a solution?

 

I've sent email to tech support but that was yesterday and still no
response.
