I've read about a similar sounding bug in Vista (with Frontmotion) where you
has to use the Default Programs to get it to stick. It sounds like you're
using XP though.

Subject: Default browsers

Greetings! We're pretty much a Firefox shop here...

On one machine, MSUpdates has installed IE7 recently.

Friday, I upgraded Firefox to 3.0.1.

IE7 claims it is NOT the default browser. Firefox claims that it is the
default. However, clicking on an HTML link opens it in IE. Is there a
registry hack to go look at?

Thanks!
