Yeah - I will admit though that there was one particular time when OS versions were a serious issue. About 3 years ago, I was building out a network of a central Sonicwall 2040 running Pro with six or eight spoke Sonicwall TZ units...and a few of them just would not connect, period, until the OS was updated to the latest version. And this was Sonicwall to Sonicwall!
