Have you checked the logs on the Exchange server for entries that mention this user's account?

I have this one user in a single 2008 DC setup that cant get at owa for exchange 2007 every few weeks. The account as reported by AD is not locked out, nor is the pw expired, but resetting the password fixes it? They don't change the pw? What can I look at to see what is causing this account to be "locked" but not?
