We have a Win2k TS machine for users who are in other countries - they
use it to log into our CRM application, mostly, as it's painful to use
the CRM client app from our foreign offices.

We have a Win2k3 domain in mixed mode.

Our AU office staff have roaming profiles - nobody else does - but I
don't know yet if this is relevant.

Here's the oddity: When our AU staff log in to the TS server, there
are batch files that are supposed to execute from the Startup folder,
and map a couple of drive letters - this doesn't happen for the AU
staff, but it works for everyone else. Howver, AU staff can manually
run the batch file after login, and the drive letters appear.

I've tried to replicate the issue with a test account in the same OU, and can't.

AU staff profiles on the TS server started as roaming profiles, and
were manually changed to local profiles, and I've also tried this with
TS profiles to override their roaming profiles. So far, no luck.

I'm about to tear my beautiful, long braided hair out, which would
make a lot of women sad.

Does anyone have an idea of what's going on with this TS situation?

Kurt
