What are you using to replicate the data? SnapMirror?

Subject: Hot Site Setup

Hey guys,

What are your best options for Hot Site setup. Currently we do whole disk
replication with a pair of S500's and it takes about 3 hours per replication
cycle to update the delta files on the S500 with each snapshot.

We are greatly expanding the site and the number of servers and storage that
will grow beyond the S500. What do you see as our options for setup.

Equipment is in Primary COLO with a 100MB Metro Lan from the office. 100MB
Internet pipe, redundant across multiple ISP's.. The hot site will get a
bandwidth upgrade to handle new replication requirements. Possible dumping
into our MetroE via a 10mb connection.

Multiple servers; Exchange, Multiple SQL DB's, File storage, Email
archiving, CRM, Terminal Server, All of this has to be fully functional
from a compliance and disaster scenario in a near seamless loss. They will
access all apps from a Terminal Server if they go to the hot site, but there
needs as near to 0 loss if an unforeseen disaster occurred.

If money was no object..

If money was available but we had to value engineer it a bit.

Just brainstorming for ideas since this will be a complete change of their
existing infrastructure.

Thanks

Greg
