Keep in mind Cisco is sometimes not as expensive as you might think if you can find the right reseller, who is willing to work with you. For example, in our office we bought:
1x 2100 Series WLAN Controller $1,5280.80 4x 1131 Wireless-G Access Points $328.00 /each We have about 18K sqft, and spread the 4 access points around strategically. Since they have been deployed, wireless is the one thing in my office we do not have to worry about, and no user complaints. Ymmv, but for us this setup has been awesome!
