Subject: HP1220 Printer issue

All,

Quick question: Is there some kind of fuse in an HP 1220 printer? I
havn't needed this for a while so when the last cartridge started
streaking, I just powered it down. Now I need to make an 11x17 printout
for a customer and I got a cartridge and now it refuses to fire up.
Checked the power source - other devices on the surge strip were
functional including my laser printer. Checked the power cord and it
works with another device and the other power cord fails with this
printer. Meter checks on both cords are OK. Any thoughts? I hate to just
junk this printer as it only has a few thousand pages through it and
when I shut it down was working fine with the exception of needing ink.

Thanks
