Really ,starting from 3 or 4 monthes, it happened to 3-4 servers after updates ,fortunately not when I was remote. A reboot cleared the issue , but I think MS should clarify.. GuidoElia HELPPC

Things are finally calming down to "normal"! I've been seeing this for several months now, probably since July patches, and have been doing the same thing to fix it when I need to. So far I've been lucky enough it hasn't happened at a remote site, but I would probably find the reg entry to turn off RDP and use shutdown.exe to get the server rebooted remotely. I've also seen it happen after just a server reboot, from driver/firmware updates. Interesting thing is that if you run netstat -an on the local server, the port is listening, just not responding.
