White boxes *can* work in a business setting, but you have to be
absolutely ANAL about the hardware you use. For most people it's simpler
just to use Dell or HP or Lenovo.

If one were go to the whitebox route Intel and SuperMicro boards aren't
half-bad: some OEMs use Intel-brand motherboards (HP is one big one).
However, most of what's out there for a DIY'er is completely
inappropriate at best, or a disaster area waiting to happen at worst.
