I have a network with approximately 1000 machines deployed. There is currently no inventory or software management tools in place. Does anyone have a link or two of some reviews or white papers so that I can begin to make an Informed decision on what to buy?
I have an Active Directory Domain, the majority are XP clients, but there are also over 100 OS X Clients and at least 75 Linux clients. Basically where I would like to start is just some reviews of what will manage all those different clients, if Servers are included, network devices like switches and printers, and a rough idea of cost.
