I've bought the LG KS20 and the Touch Diamond this year, and used the Samsung Omnia for a little while as well.
The HTC Diamond is definitely my preferred device from a form factor perspective, and with a current ROM works well performance wise. You can replace the Touch Flo 3D interface with SPB Mobile Shell (and the infinite number of skins out there for that) if you prefer a different look. HTC Diamond Pro if you want a slide-out keyboard is available as well. I had the chance to use one for a bit at TechEd this year and it was so nice I actually considered switching to Sprint, in spite of their craptacular support group, due how nice a phone it is. One of the really nice features is the motion detection that senses when the phone is placed face-down on a surface and switches the phone to meeting mode. Real slick , and a nice form-factor.
