I was asked to create a folder on the server where students are: ALLOWED TO: Create files and edit their own files
NOT ALLOWED TO: Open/edit files that were NOT created by them. This was achieved by basically giving them list permission to the folder and the create files/folders perimission. Then giving creator/owner permission to write data and append data. This works great... Students can create files in the folder, and edit their own files, but can't see the data in other files of other students. BUT. Now i'm also being asked to set up that same folder so that students can't see the contents of the folder, except their OWN files. I cannot figure out how to do this -- I don't think it can be done. If I remove List access to the folder, they can't even get into the folder. Any ideas? or is this just not possible...
