Just keep in mind the recoverability of the volume. It can't simply be mounted
by any version of windows as the files that are SIS'ed are only pointers.
Additionally, I had a RIS volume I remounted in a new RIS server and it for
some reason couldn't pickup the old sis database and the volume needed to be
tanked and restored. I presume that would be the same for WSS and its SIS.
Make sure your DR plan is solid.

Subject: Windows Storage Server 2003 SIS

Do those of you running Windows Storage Server 2003 enable SIS (Single Instance
Storage)? I'm considering turning it on and am wondering if there are any
gotchas that I should know about beforehand. I'm anticipating a huge payoff in
reducing the volume of stored files because of the de-dupe.
