Well based on what TVK says, when you upgrade to 2k7 you will lose that.

Can anyone tell me if the nightly GAL scan/update can be configured to look
at only specific OU's or to only scan true accounts?  We have 1000s of
entries in our AD as contacts imported by IFFP for sister companies
(regulatory boundaries prevent one forest).  It is scanning those for some
reason and then throwing lots of errors due to many of them having text
characters in the phone field.  Since these cross regulatory boundaries, I
can't just fix the phone number.

I haven't even figured out what this process is doing yet.  I'm not sure why
it is trying to import/scan the entire GAL to begin with.  Unless it is to
update the phone numbers in case of change - but these people aren't an OCS
object to begin with.  I need to dive into that from a knowledge/education
perspective.  But in the meantime I'd like to clear up the error log of the
entries.
