We use BeCrypt on our laptop and desktop machines. Requires a username and 2 passwords after POST before the OS starts to load. Does not really help if you have multiple users on one machine, but fine when you allocate one machine per user (as is the case with laptops I guess). This will help to prevent access of your data on the machine's disks, but won't help you get it back should a machine be stolen......
