I have the exact same issue but not with a Lefthand SAN...it's a problem with the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator. I haven't found a reliable work around yet, but I'm testing doing a scheduled task to restart the server service on boot up. Not sure if that would work because I don't know where in the boot sequence scheduled tasks would run but it's worth a shot. The MS KB says the service dependency method should work - for me, it does not. Let me know if you figure it out...I've been dealing with it for 2 years.

But, no, that would be too easy.

After reboot, the machine *still* comes up with roughly half of the
file and printer shares missing.

I have to manually restart the Server service to get them all back.

Anyone have any hints on fixing this issue?
