FTP client is no problem. I have found the easiest for me to use is WS FTP Pro from IPSwitch software. I have had some people also use filezilla. Personally I find FTP Pro easier than Filezilla.
As to upload/download web front ends, for the most part, I believe the web browsers function mainly in a download process. Any ftp server that supports a browser will allow you to do that. As to uploading, I have not yet worked with anything that supports uploading via a browser. They may exist, I'm just not familiar with them. Hope that helps. Most the users that will be using our FTP server are not very computer literate. I'm looking for 1. A very simple FTP client that's easy for users to use. or 2. a web front end for uploading/downloading files. Anyone have any suggestions.
