You can block certain incoming numbers from sending you sms, just not a
complete block actually.

With Sprint, you cannot block any incoming text messages, only outgoing.

I believe you can contact your carrier to block all text messages.

That will only disable their ability to send.  Will not allow you to
block incoming txt message.
