Eh? You can copy-n-paste from a cmd shell window.

 

Edit -> Mark -> Select -> Enter

 

But you forgot that we are dealing with Martin here.  That means he will
have millions of files altered in the last X days and that will overflow the
cmd shell window buffer.

Copy-n-paste the last two days of stuff.

It will be very hard to "Copy-n-paste" if there is no redirection to an
output file.

 

Dir c:\ /s /o:d > modfiles.txt

I'm looking for something other than Windows search that will show me files
modified in the last X days.

For example give me a list of every file modified in the last 2 days or
since X date.
