Yes reinstalling VC is what I am planning to do. What happened is if you pass a certain grace period the virtual machines will continue to run unless you shut them down. Any virtual machines that are shut down will not be able to be run again. Someone had shut down the virtual center server. I am planning on installing VC on another virtual machine that was not shut down and is still currently running.
