PCBoard was the Caddy of BBS packages.

I ran a RemoteAcess BBS for a few years. It was fairly easy to
configure and manage and appears to still be supported.

But I have to wonder, why not uses some type of secure FTP instead?

Subject: BBS Software for dialin file transfers

I have a client that is looking to build a new dialin server for modem
only
clients to dialin and pickup data files. The original is using Zoc but
I am
looking for any experience out there with other software.
'Wildcat! Interactive Net Server' seems to be the only one around that
is
reasonably supported.

Is there any experience with type of setup still in use out there?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Cheers
Michael
