I'm adding 2 new Dl360 servers and VMware ESX, planning to migrate my
Exchange 2003 to virtual 2007, and adding my BES and WUS also planning
to use an existing server as redundant storage. I have a consultant
setting it up for me but I'm controlling the Hardware purchase.

What do you want out of your SAN? Just disk, or do you want applications
as well?

Do you want application specific backup / snapshot tools? Provisioning
software? What are you going to do with it?

Do you want DR? Replication?
