The server is an sbs server so there isn't going to be local accounts. I
will check out netshare, thanks

Make the share permissions require local accounts on the server?

Not aware of any built in tools that do this at all. EasyDisk, PGP
Netshare, are 2 that come to mind that do this. Netshare I have used and is
pretty robust.

I have an attorney that does SEC filings and has been asked to make one of
their network shares always ask for password regardless of logon.

I saw some encryption programs that appear to do this, and I guess that
would be okay but was looking for alternatives. It's a small office and just
2 people need access to this folder/share. Doing it by permissions is not
comfortable enough for them.
