This is exactly what I do! Matter of fact, we took my daughter's "7 month" picture today. I print a sign that says "I'm 7 months old today" and we put that next to her w/ the same teddy bear.

Take just 60 seconds of random video every month or two. Doesn't matter what they're doing - eating, playing, sleeping.... just shoot 60 seconds.
