I have no idea what happened, but my Websense filter is suddenly not able to send block pages back to the client. I have all my clients going from their PCs into my HP 4108, which has 4 VLANs setup on it. My Websense server has two network cables, one normal, and one going to the monitor port on the HP. The monitor cable is Tagged in all 4 VLANs. If I test from the Websense server itself, the block page comes up no problem. If I test from anywhere else, so that the traffic has to go through the HP and the monitor port, the block page doesn't make it back to the client, and the browser will sit there spinning until it finally errors out. The only change that was made in recent history was the replacement of a 10/100 module with a gig module, which does house the monitor port. The network ports on both ends, switch and server, are set to Auto, and are showing a gig connection. If anyone has any advice, tips, etc. please let me know, as I'm at the end of my rope here.
We did packet captures on both sides, to determine that the Websense application is working properly, and generating the 302 Move command, but that never gets back to the client. Not sure what other info you'd like, but I'd be happy to provide it. I need to get this thing working soon, as it is also affecting resolution of good webpages too.
