Subject: ntop installation help

First time newbie here. I want to install ntop on a Ubuntu box. I've
downloaded the tar.gz, I've extracted that into a folder in my home directory.
There is no /configure (which I've just recently found out) How do I get this
installed? I did find one reference saying I needed libpcap, gdbm and rrdtool
installed also. Is this true? I've downloaded the libpcap, but again, no clue
how to install it.

Any advice?
