I looked at it for corporate use a little while ago, couldn't see much
of a problem but still said no as it just didn't feel right as a
replacement for some other products we were running.

However, I have just finished a re-evaluation and we are about to
install it for our "International" team so they can reduce their global
call costs. The main caveat is that they support it themselves once it
is up and running, and they are more than happy to do so, seeing as it
is so straightforward. I've also told them they can use video, but
anything better then useless is a bonus.

Subject: Skype

Has anyone looked at Skype recently? We've got a client that wants us
to use Skype for communications with them. I've always been a little
leery of using them in a business environment, but looking at it now, I
see they have a MSI download for easy deployment and a group policy
template for central administration of settings. It all looks pretty
cool. While the security guy in me wants to say no, I'm having a hard
time finding a reason not to say OK.

I'm curious what the members of this esteemed group think about it
