I know this isn't an Exchange specific forum, but figured I would start
here.

I will preface this question with letting you know I am not an Exchange
admin... unfortunately, I am the best we have right now.
We are running Exchange 2000.

We have what I hope is not a unique situation. We have a remote site in the
Netherlands and have to deal with the Dutch government for certain export
processes.

The requirement is that we setup a VPN between our remote site and this
branch of the Dutch government so we can send email to them without
publicly routing the email.
This is their requirement.

The basic process is to have an application access a mailbox on our
Exchange system and send emails through the VPN to this Dutch government
location.
Could someone provide me an overview, link, suggestions, etc... for having
a mailbox on our Exchange system route all email to a certain SMTP address
through this tunnel without effecting other mail routing?

Any help is appreciated.
