If not Ethernet, what do you go with? Token-Ring? Sm:)e. I'm less interested security, more interested in knowing what's on my network. We subscribe to the "All our network equipment is in the Reservation" version of DHCP... but Windows DHCP server can't be easily setup for failover in that setup.
