Hi,

I have just added our first Windows Vista Business machine onto our
Windows Domain. We are using Windows Server 2003. I cannot get roaming
profiles to work. As it is the only machine for now that we are adding,
I have not bothered with a Folder re-direction Group Policy. I simply
logged on the user and then off again, which successfully created the
'<USERNAME>.V2' folder in the profiles share. I then copied a couple
of documents to the 'Desktop' folder within the .V2 folder and logged
the user on again. None of the files came across from the profiles
share, and I received an error in the Application Log stating that I
didn't not have sufficient Permissions to access the '.V2'profile on the
share, despite the fact that the user I logged on with had taken
Ownership of that folder. I even gave that user Full Control rights the
profile folder, but this didn't work either.

Also, once logged on as the domain user, I created some files on the
Desktop and logged off again. These files were not copied to the
profiles share.

Any ideas anyone?!

Many thanks,

Mark
