I tech. reviewed both; they are for very different things.

ADCkBk3e shows you how to script things and get them done. There is some 
explanation, but it's fairly abbreviated.

AD4e is for acquiring an in-depth understanding of how AD works. There are some 
scripts, but they are fairly abbreviated.

Personally, I have them both in my quick-reach pile.
