Better yet, have their doctor weigh in. If they've been epileptic for a while there may be a laundry list of items which cause seizures. Knowing what those items are can be helpful. Some people have reported tinted glasses allow them to view monitors without problems, others not. As with all things in life, YMMV, there isn't a one size fits all solution.
