I'm going to guess that they're not unless you have some type of volume
license agreement already in place with Microsoft. Starting with 2003, TS
licenses did not transfer from older versions

Subject: terminal server 2008

I'm trying to find a document that shows / explains if you can or cannot
transfer your windows 2003 TS CALS to a 2008 TS environment. From I see on
msterminalservices.org there is a doc explaining the differences that 2008
offers in TS. But I cannot find a doc stating if you can transfer them or
not.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
